The Swiss Army Knife is one of Switzerland's cultural icons and a great asset to model when exploring different techniques for hard surface modeling. This project expanded my knowledge of Maya and introduced me to the many possibilities of photo-realistic shading.
Throughout the process of creating this piece, I learned the traditional way of lighting a scene with 3 point lighting in addition to grasping a better understanding of polygonal concepts and techniques for hard surface modeling as a whole.
